We are proud to share with you our very own creation, Kandoobi Animals! It is a children’s activity app Tuesday concepted, designed and developed that is now available in the App Store. It was first launched in February for iPad, and after receiving positive feedback (it has a five star rating!), we next upgraded it to a universal app now available for download on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

This 4-in-1 app features coloring, character matching and simple spelling activities designed for children ages 18 months to five years old. It stars over 100 charming animal, bug and reptile characters with everything from bears and bees to blowfish and badgers. The app offers an engaging environment for parents and children to play together and is also simple enough for the little ones to enjoy on their own.

While Kandoobi has been a fun creative project for the team, it has also given us opportunities to refine our app UI design, development and marketing talents to better serve our client partners. We are also big fans of developing universal apps. A universal app is a single app that is optimized for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices. Universal apps give users multiple apps for the price of one since; instead of downloading and buying a “regular” version and an “HD” version, users only make one app purchase for all their account devices. Another bonus of universal app development is that we only have to design, build and test a single program, leading to both time and budget efficiencies.

Kandoobi Animals has been well received by parents, kids and mommy bloggers alike. We invite you to enjoy Kandoobi too! Visit the App Store and download today!

This clever ad campaign just emerged from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Designed by ad agency, Team Detroit, these ads are reminiscent of the D.A.R.E. anti-drug PSAs from the 90s. My favorite is “I found this in your room, we need to talk.” Which one is your favorite?

I came across What Party? on Etsy the other week and immediately wanted to spend all of my extra cash covering my walls with these hilarious embroideries. The gallery above has some of my personal favorites, and there are many more in the Etsy store as well as on the artist’s personal website. A note to friends and family: make room on your walls because you will get at least one of these for Christmas from me.

It has been brought to my attention that the current Amon Tobin tour is simply amazing. Watch the YouTube video above to see the trailer for the show. It is truly a masterful Audio Visual experience complete with an amazing set piece created to work beautifully with the projections and music. The tour is currently running through the US and will hit the Los Angeles area in a little over a week. More info about the show, installation, photography, etc, available here.

NBCUniversal is celebrating Healthy Week May 21-27 with the launch of “What Moves Me.” The campaign showcases what motivates the stars of their networks to keep moving and go healthy! As their digital partner, we completed a migration of the Healthy at NBCU site to WordPress for the launch and produced a sporty and fun iGo Healthy game for iPhone! We also created a host of promotional banners and produced a series of widgets to be placed across the NBCUniversal portfolio of sites and Facebook pages. Click on over to the Healthy at NBCU site and see what’s happening during the 2011 Healthy Week and how you can go healthy!

I really enjoy these simple interpretations of well known movies by Viktor Hertz. Hertz credits the Noun Project for its pictograms which anyone can use free of charge.

Where do I believe? When I found this calendar I just kept staring at it. I love it so much. It’s just amazing. It has so much going for it. It’s a nesting box calendar made from various paper stocks with die cuts for every other month to reveal the paper stock beneath it. You can write on it if you want. It’s multi-colored. It’s printed with metallic ink. Oh god it’s brilliant!
