In the main hall, you can encounter the upcoming offerings from the various movie and television studios, check out genuine and recreated props, purchase collectible toys and artwork (including Christmas ornaments!) or get that Merlotte’s Bar and Grill waitress T-shirt your wife would just die for (Sarah loves it!).

I came across these milk straws while reading this post on Oh Joy! They look fun and yummy. With four flavors to choose from, these straws will magically transform your dull milk into a delicious and still somewhat healthy treat. They seem aimed at kids but who are they kidding? Adults will love this just as much I’m sure.

While daily product deal websites like Woot have been thriving since 2004, it is the local daily deal websites like Groupon, Homerun and Living Social that have exploded on to the scene in 2010 with new ones like Kaloopa and Qponday launching each week. Shoppers can now find local deals on everything from restaurants to surf lessons and even teeth whitening. More than just offering consumers a discount, these sites also offer shoppers a fresh take on local merchants and service providers in their neighborhoods that they might have otherwise overlooked. Shopping local daily deal websites is a great way to experience your city.

It’s a plane, it’s a hot air balloon, no wait it’s just Angry Birds flying around on the iPad! With over 250,000 apps available in the iTunes App Store, I wanted to know not just what people downloaded, but what they were using and playing. I asked just about every person that I encountered that has an iPad to see what they were actually doing with their iPad and what apps they couldn’t live without. Here are just a few of the favorites…
