Did you ever unearth something from your past so embarrassing yet so extremely cool that you felt the urge to share it with the world? Well, I did! Last week while cleaning my garage I came across a blast from the past, my middle school yearbook from Chaminade College Prep. I know most people would prefer to forget about those awkward “middle” years, but I got a kick out of revisiting them. How can I be so confident about my adolescence you ask? It’s easy because my yearbook is not just a typical 1980’s yearbook with puffy hair and men with bangs. My yearbook is a tribute to one of the great literary pieces of all time – the Lord of the Rings. It’s very clear that the D & D club was also a big part of the yearbook staff.

Harris Interactive, a leader in the consumer research industry, turned to us to help create an animated overview to launch their new mobile product.  This engaging and informative promotional piece colorfully highlights their ability to conduct mobile surveys and reach busy consumers on the go.  The new mobile tool is a great complement to their Research Lifestreaming product which taps into consumer conversation across social networks.  Click here to watch the animation.

Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, a leading Houston, Texas funeral service provider, wanted to redesign their website to be more effective while also preserving the essence of their physical location.  To accomplish this, they partnered with us to create a new site that would honor their 75 year tradition of excellence and educate visitors about their services. Having successfully redesigned the Dignity Memorial network of over 1,800 funeral homes, we were well-suited to take on this project.

CopWare, the leading digital publisher of reference manuals for California peace officers turned to us to develop an iPhone app to deliver their vast Reference Collection.  For this project, it was mission critical to allow peace officers to use their iPhones to easily search and browse both the Peace Officers Legal Sourcebook, and the California Penal and Vehicle Codes.   This powerful app will be a valuable tool for peace officers who are in the field and for those doing research back at the home base.

Tuesday recently collaborated with JPL to relaunch Space Images, an online collection of thousands of photos from past deep space missions. Used by scientists, educators, students and enthusiasts, the challenge was to update the site making it more accessible and functional. Magical Elves, the Emmy Award winning production company is the force behind such popular reality television shows as Top Chef, America’s Next Great Restaurant, Project Runway and feature films including Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.  When they needed help with the redesign of their website, they turned to Tuesday Creative. For design inspiration, we used their striking Los Angeles office space mixing whites, purples and their trademark logo.  Launched as the Justin Bieber: Never Say Never DVD hit the shelves, the site provides company background and even gives potential reality stars a chance to audition to be on one of their hit shows.  Get your headshot touched up, visit the site and you may be the next big thing!

Recently we received a generous “thank you” basket from one of our favorite clients. It was a huge basket of cookies topped with an enormous red balloon (we’re talking about 3 feet in diameter).  Our eating squad tore through the cookies right quick, leaving the massive balloon dangling over our kitchen.  For two days the balloon drifted aimlessly around the studio, occasionally coming to rest behind someone’s desk.  We would joke, “Balloon is watching you.”   It seemed like the balloon was taking on a life of its own.  What if it were hungry for revenge after being tossed aside in favor of cookies?  With that in mind and about 30 minutes of shooting, we put together a short video for your viewing pleasure.
